The 2-part workshop structure will require that faculty attend both sessions (October 4th and November 8th - 3:00 - 4:30 PM). The first session lays the groundwork for effective critical thinking pedagogy, including discussions about current tactics used by the attendees and brainstorming classroom critical thinking activities that the participants can try in their own, current classes during the month following the first workshop. The second workshop will entail sharing stories of how the critical thinking activities worked-out in their current classes, some additional critical thinking content, and then time for work on a future course (and its syllabus) where critical thinking will be infused in a more comprehensive manner.
